Welcome to Crafted and Called.
Hi, I’m Roxanne.
I’ve been a creative for as long as I can remember — you could say I was born with a pencil in my hand. From childhood sketches to custom drawings for classmates in second grade, creating has always felt natural to me. Even then, it was clear that art wasn’t just something I enjoyed — it was a gift. A gift from the ultimate Creator, to create.
Art is one of the primary ways I connect with God. Creating feels like worship — a space where faith and imagination meet. Over the years, that love for creativity has taken many forms, including fashion, illustration, writing, and design.
From 2009–2013, I studied Fashion Merchandising at Genesee Community College, dreaming of one day becoming a fashion designer. For my final project, I illustrated and designed a collection called Offbeat Chic, learning how to sew and read patterns along the way. In 2014, I shared a simple but bold dream with a coworker: to create clothing that would glorify God. At the time, I didn’t know how that dream would unfold — but God did.
In 2016, I felt the Lord call me to spend a year serving overseas in China. That season shaped my faith, expanded my heart for missions, and opened the door to travel throughout China, Malaysia, and Kazakhstan. It’s also where I met my husband, Andrew. We were married in October 2019.
Today, we live in New York’s Hudson Valley, serving at MCB Church in Carmel, where my in-laws are pastors. I work alongside my husband, who serves as Worship Pastor and Assistant Pastor, supporting the creative ministry and contributing to various artistic and administrative projects. In this season, God has been rekindling my passion for creating and reminding me why He placed it in my hands to begin with.
Crafted and Called is a reflection of two truths I hold close: I was made to create, and I was made on purpose. This space is where I share creativity, faith, travel, and the everyday beauty of following Jesus — imperfectly, honestly, and wholeheartedly.
I’m so glad you’re here.
